Sykes-Pickavant’s 17700000 Large Universal Internal / External Puller is Designed for Ease of Use and Increased Applications

Making its debut in the January – April 2019 Promotional Brochure, the 17700000 is designed for applications with a large span. With an adjustable spread, the puller is suitable for a wide range of tasks including use on bearing, gears and brake discs. The kit features reversible legs for both internal and external pulling, further increasing the range of applications possible.

The slotted puller beam allows for easy adjustment of the puller spread from 0 – 420mm with an extended reach of 330mm. Two pairs of setting sleeves are included, providing 45mm and 90mm setting options so that less time is spent levelling the foot position whilst ensuring that the pulling length is equal for each leg. Use of the puller without setting sleeves is possible however more care is needed to guarantee successful levelling.

The 17700000 can also be used with air tools on a slow setting to provide an easier and smoother pull. The user can easily locate the spindle prior to operation with centering provided by the nose piece centering point of the trapezoidal screw; this trapezoidal design also provides higher strength.
