The function of an expansion tank

An expansion tank is an important part in a truck engine cooling system. The expansion tank absorbs excess coolant and minimizes excess pressure in the cooling system. An expansion tank helps to  maintain a minimal pressure increase during heated coolant expansion. It helps to keep the engine operating at exactly the right temperature. Furthermore, the expansion tank ensures that there is no waste by reuse excess coolant into the system. Although the expansion tank is a high quality and reliable part, it should be checked annually.

High quality standards

The NRF expansion tanks are produced in Europe with high quality standards. 100% virgin materials are used for production of OE matching quality. After the production process each expansion tank is subjected to a leakage test. Furthermore pressure tests (up to 6 bars) and vibration test are included in the testing process. All expansion tanks are validated to ensure a perfect fitment into the vehicle.

Extensive range

In total NRF introduced 29 expansion tanks for the most common truck brands (DAF, MAN, MERCEDES, SCANIA, VOLVO). This also includes tanks for EURO 6 truck models. NRF offers an high quality part at competitive prices. CV Logix offers the total NRF range of expansion tanks.

Easy Fit

All NRF expansion tanks are Easy Fit. This means that all tanks are delivered with a new filler cap. This is important, because the original cap can be worn-out or doesn’t fit at the aftermarket part.

The total NRF range consist out of a large number of engine cooling and air condition parts, including radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers, compressors, condensers, EGR coolers and more.
