Exol, the UK’s largest independent lubricants company, is delighted to announce that it has won ‘Supplier of the Year’ at this year’s Alliance Automotive UK Trade Show in Liverpool, which took place on 4 and 5 October.
The award voted for by GROUPAUTO and UAN affiliates, comes as Exol celebrates what has proven to be an extremely successful 2018 to date for the company, following significant investment at its UK sites, expansion of its export offering and continued growth of its lubricants’ brands to AAUK: TradeTec, TruckTec and ExoPro.
TradeTec, TruckTec, and ExoPro have been considerable success stories for UAN and GROUPAUTO affiliates. The brands have seen notable improvements since their launch five years ago (three years for UAN), in doing so reinforcing the brands to create a first class offering to factors and garages, one that covers a wide range of automotive and commercial vehicle applications.
A re-brand, new website with VRM look-up and new ‘retail-friendly’ products, available in one and five-litre packaging, have all boosted the TradeTec offering, supported by the introduction of new informative product labels that feature a manufacturing warranty, giving confidence to both the distributor and end user.
Exol has also launched a number of promotions over the past 12 months, in particular, two major campaigns proving top draw with customers. These have included the “Find A Golden Ticket” barrel campaign and a ‘Win a Van’ 2018 prize draw for all AAUK independent affiliates.
The Exol team works with customers on technical training events, promoting the product quality to independent garages and offering advice and tips on the many issues garages face around correct oil selection.
Steve Dunn, Exol sales director, said: “A massive thank you to every UAN and GROUPAUTO affiliate that voted for Exol. The award is in recognition of the hard-working Exol team that ensures we consistently provide a high-quality product and brand for motor factors and garages throughout the UK.”
